Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) also known as thermography is FDA approved, medical grade, non-invasive and a sedation-free technique. In veterinary applications DITI is used for early diagnosing of functional problems such as lameness, referred pain syndrome, injuries or the physiological process before a tumor grows.
Functional problems are difficult to determine from standard tests (X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan or MRI) because they are designed to look for existing structural changes like fractures or sizable masses. This makes DITI a valuable, adjunctive screening method with significant advantages and benefits.
Additionally, DITI can be used for monitoring the animal's response to treatment or training protocol, saddle fittings, as well as in pre-purchase scenarios.
Animal Infrared Imaging (AII) provides mobile, medical grade thermal imaging for animal owners, trainers and veterinarians in NW Florida. The interpretation of the findings is done by Veterinary Doctors who are Board Certified Veterinary Thermologists.
We are dedicated to being the leading provider of medical grade veterinary thermography. Guided by our passion for animals, we deliver unparalleled value based on three core principles: our professional and customer-centered approach, the use of advanced technology designed for early detection of lameness and disease as well as the expeditious and accurate medical interpretation of the thermographic images.
Early detection leads to a faster diagnosis, saving valuable time when decisions about your animal's well being need to be made – regardless whether the condition is acute, chronic or life-threatening. Moreover, early detection may save you money and spare your animal prolonged discomfort.
Our clients - owners, trainers, breeders and veterinarians use our thermographic reports (which contains both the thermal images and the specialist's interpretation) to develop a diagnostic impression, treatment or training protocol as well as for pre-purchase scenarios.
